WEEK 1

Brigham Young University started this week,  and with it,  lots of adventure! I spent about 12 hours on Zoom between my classes,  my job as a TA and the student organization.

Two of my classes work very well together.  One teaches skills in different programs and programming while the other teaches the skills of Instructional Design. One of them actually said,  the thing you'll learn in graduate school is that nobody gets along with anybody ever.  And he'll be on my advising committee.  🤣

I TA for a SPED section of an undergraduate course for education majors.  I went to 3 sections this week - my assigned section is the SPED section,  the other two were not.

In my donations of ID class,  it was interesting to look at the history of the United States in terms of  how schools and organizations taught.  I learned in Psychology Assessment that the world wars bright about psychological assessments like never before,  but with the need to train and population growth,  evaluation, standardization and technology for educating all increased,  too. I found it amusing that Edison thought books would be done away with altogether in favor of movies within ten years.  It's been over 100.
